As a nutritionist, what inspired you to pursue the path you’re on today?

I grew up watching people cycle in and out of the conventional medical system with the same problems, just managed a little differently each visit. Brilliant at crisis care, but almost no tools for the question I kept hearing from real human beings sitting across from me: “Why is this happening to me in the first place?” That question is what Sprout Nourishment was built to answer. The moment it solidified was the first time I ran a bioscan and watched someone’s eyes change when they realized their body wasn’t broken; it was talking, and finally, someone was listening. I have been chasing that moment for my clients ever since.

How do you find strength during moments of doubt, burnout, or adversity?

I practice what I prescribe. When I feel the squeeze, I go back to the non-negotiables: sleep, sunlight, protein at every meal, movement that makes me feel powerful instead of punished, and a regulated nervous system. Doubt is data. It is not a character flaw. It is a signal that I am overextended or out of alignment with what actually matters. The fastest way out of burnout is to stop treating it as a badge and start treating it like every other health signal: with curiosity, not shame.

How do you define success on your own terms?

Success is whether I can still do this work with the same energy and clarity I have today twenty years from now. I built Sprout Nourishment for high performers who refuse to accept decline as inevitable, and I hold myself to the exact same standard. If my business is thriving but my biology is breaking down, that is not success; that is borrowing against my future. Vitality and longevity are the only metrics that actually matter, and they apply to me before they apply to anyone else.

What does the world need more of and less of?

More: curiosity about the body and trust in its intelligence. Less: settling for “your labs look fine” when you feel anything but. We have normalized exhaustion, brain fog, stubborn weight, and inflammation as the cost of ambition. None of it is normal. The world needs more practitioners willing to dig deeper, and more people willing to demand real answers instead of another prescription. Less “influencer MD” and more trusting in experienced practitioners who have your best interest in mind rather than your wallet.

How do you hope your work and story will inspire the next generation of women and girls?

I want them to grow up knowing their body is not the enemy and that aging is not a slow surrender. I want them to ask better questions, demand more from their healthcare, and understand that strength, clarity, and energy are not luxuries reserved for their twenties. I want women to build long, vibrant, fully lived lives on their own terms with the same confidence they bring to their careers, their relationships, and everything else they decide to own. If my work helps even one young woman skip the decade of being told “everything looks normal” while she suffers, I have done my job.

How do you start your day in a way that sets the tone for success?

Light before screens. Water before coffee. Movement before email. I get sunlight on my face within the first hour of waking, hydrate with minerals and electrolytes, and move my body before I move my brain. It sounds simple because it is. Your morning sets your circadian rhythm, your hormones, your energy, and your focus for the entire day. I refuse to outsource that to my inbox.
