What called you to NetworkSpinal and what is that?

First of all, NetworkSpinal is a form of chiropractic care that improves the function of the spine and nervous system through light touches at specific spinal points.

I was called to this work through a deep desire to help people. Early on, I saw how disconnected and stressed so many lives had become, and I knew I wanted to be part of the solution. Chiropractic—especially the gentle and powerful work of NetworkSpinal—resonated with me because it addresses the root of that disconnection.

Over the years, that calling expanded into mentoring other chiropractors, helping them grow practices that not only thrive but also truly serve. It’s all about creating ripples of healing and impact in every direction.

Dr Richelle Knowles on the cover of Boss Babes MagazineWhat was the best business advice you received when you were first starting out?

The best business advice I received early on was: “Focus on serving.” It reminded me that success is built on genuine relationships and consistently creating value for others. When you truly care about helping people—whether it’s your clients, your team, or your community—growth follows naturally. That mindset laid the foundation for everything we’ve built since.

What resources would you recommend to someone starting a business in a similar field?

For anyone starting out in chiropractic or wellness-based entrepreneurship, I recommend finding a great mentor and community early on. There’s incredible value in learning from those who’ve walked the path before you.

Books like Start With Why by Simon Sinek are foundational. I’ve also been enjoying Let Them by Mel Robbins. Personal development resources—such as the work of Tony Robbins—are invaluable, too. Growing yourself is key to growing your business. Taking care of yourself allows you to better serve others.

And finally, surround yourself with people who remind you of your why when things get tough—because community is everything.

In your opinion, what are the top three things someone should consider before starting a business?

  1. Your “Why” – Know what truly drives you. Passion and purpose will sustain you through challenges.
  2. Who You Serve – Be crystal clear about your ideal client or community. Business is about relationships and impact.
  3. Support Systems – Don’t try to do it all alone. Whether it’s mentorship, a team, or a strong network, having support makes the journey more sustainable—and far more enjoyable.

What is your personal or professional motto?

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storms to pass—it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
For me, that means counting it all joy, standing strong in faith, and choosing gratitude regardless of the circumstances.

What’s your favorite thing to come home to after a long day at work?

My favorite thing to come home to after a long day is the sense of peace that only home can bring—whether it’s a quiet moment on the porch, hiking with our mini Goldendoodle Maple, working in the garden, or talking with my family. It’s in those simple, present moments that I recharge and reconnect, so I can continue showing up fully for the people I serve.
